SOUNDER and FRIENDS is a new cartoon on PBS targeting phonemic and phonological sound awareness. It looks really cute and your kids can learn fundamentals for reading!

All children are unique and have different abilities including their ability to handle foods. We have to know what our child can handle and build from there, minimizing the risk for choking. It is NOT a competition but a journey.

Is your child struggling to recall their letters and corresponding sounds, understand concepts such as "beginning sound", sound out or spell basic words and learn high frequency words by site? These are some of the fundamental skills needed to read. We can help with this process with explicit instruction that is fun and engaging.

Very excited to be taking more course work covering the Science of Reading today. What does the research say and how can we bring this to our teaching to help our kids be proficient readers?

Is your child struggling with issues around eating? ARFID is a fairly new feeding difficulty but intervention is available.

Learning letters and corresponding sounds is a fundamental skill for early reading development. Manipulating sounds in our heads and breaking words apart into smaller units is also fundamental. Please give us a call if your child is experiencing difficulty with these skills. Often times you can hear sound errors in your child’s speech when they are speaking.
