Her area in New York became the epicenter of the United States outbreak. Working in the COVID-19 epicenter of Elmhurst, New York, 2019 IIE Centennial Fellow Krizia Lopez used her resources and network to break down language barriers for immigrant communities in desperate need of guidance.
