Tabbouleh is more than just a salad made of finely chopped parsley, tomato, onion, mint and bulgur, and seasoned with a lemon-olive dressing. This dish, a staple of the Levantine mezza, originated in the mountains of Lebanon and Syria and was an essential part of people’s diets in the Middle Ages. Today, tabbouleh is an indivisible part of Lebanese identity. It’s in every household and on the table at every feast!

Dear fellow wine lovers, We want to tell you all about WINE and WAR, a feature-length documentary about Lebanon, wine and conflict, which has been seven years in the making and is set for global release on October 9th. Inspired by the book Wines of Lebanon by Michael Karam, filmmakers Mark Johnston and Mark Ryan as well as Michael Karam himself, wanted to make a film that celebrated the resilience of the Lebanese entrepreneur through the prism of wine. It is a story of how L...ebanon’s winemakers have, for thousands of years, gone about their work in war, famine, occupation and the constant hum of political instability. WINE and WAR will be available on www.wineandwar.com on OCTOBER 9. All the proceeds from the film’s sales will go to the St Georges Hospital, which was devastated in the August 4, Beirut explosion. We need all the support we can get.

We couldn't be more excited about the news of re-opening our indoor dining room starting September 30th, even at 25% capacity. It is in this same dining room where it all started 14 years ago. Every memory of sharing a celebration still lives with us. As we have meticulously applied all safety measures since we opened our outdoor patio, we will continue applying our robust precautionary measures indoors in addition to enhancing our air conditioning filtration system. Thi...s means that all tables will be spaced out at a minimum of 6 feet distancing, every staff member in the front and back of house will be wearing a mask and follow all CDC guidance in hygiene and table sanitizing, and we will be taking the temperature of every guest joining us before being seated. We will continue operating our outdoor patio weather permitting and our hours of operation will remain the sam. For reservations (link in bio)! See more
