iMatter Festival

As hard as this year has been on so many, we are sad that we can't get together today as originally planned. We never thought we’d be forced to cancel but we will press on. We can’t have a festival called iMatter if we don’t look out for the best interest of you, our volunteers, and every band that makes this festival something truly unique. Be good to yourself, be good to each other and we’ll meet again on August 7th, 2021. We Will Not Lose Hope.

We write this post today with a heavy heart. Here at iMatter, we were all hoping for the best, that this pandemic would be over by August. At this point, in New York State, it is not possible for us to be able to hold a large gathering on August 15th. We have decided to cancel iMatter 2020 and start planning for 2021, as we won't be able to obtain a permit to gather in time for this year. All fans that purchased VIP tickets and/or prepaid parking will receive a full refund ...from Eventbrite. Refunds were issued to each of you this morning, there is nothing you need to do on your end to get refunded. You will also be refunded for any processing fees that you were charged by Eventbrite. As we move forward and make plans for 2021, we would like to host as many bands as possible that were supposed to perform in 2020. We’ve already started talking with agents and bands, and some bands have already confirmed for 2021. We never thought we’d be forced to cancel but we will press on.
