Amy Breedlove, Jeffrey S. Nesbit and Samir S. Shah are team "The BQE / From Hacking to Housing." Their team will survey existing zoning codes, land use, overlapping jurisdictions, and current physical conditions of a site along the BQE corridor from Red Hook to Cobble Hill including the working waterfront. This research will identify a clear list of challenges and opportunities for replacing and/or repurposing the urban infrastructure with the goal of increasing community engagement efforts around potential changes in public policy and the built environment. This post is part of our 2020 Fellow announcement series. This week we're highlighting each team, and their project proposals. Be sure to follow along on our website as we welcome our new fellows to the IPA! http://the-ipa.org/2020-residency
