It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to leave our home in New York City after 41 amazing years. As a first generation Portugese and Brazilian family, serving Little Brazil Street and beyond has truly been the pleasure of our lives. This decision has not come easily and was made after thoughtful and difficult deliberations. We will miss dearly the family we have built in New York - our team, many of whom have been with us for generations, and the unwavering support of... our clientele, which Ipanema was always built upon. While this closure marks the end of one chapter, we remain hopeful and intent on keeping Ipanema alive. Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we announce a new location of our beloved restaurant. After three long months we are re-opening on Tuesday, June 9th for delivery and curbside pickup! We will be operating with a limited food menu but with an expanded to-go cocktail list. We will be adding brand new items in the days to come. We’ve missed you and can’t wait to see you all soon!
