Iranian Student Association at Syracuse University

On December 21st, we celebrated the Yalda Night - the longest night of the year and the last night of fall. Thanks to everyone who joined us from Syracuse and surrounding cities to celebrate the Yalda Night last Saturday. We had more than 80 attendees, which is an excellent turnout given our small community. Your engagement develops our community, and we appreciate your participation in helping us grow. We also hope you all had fun, and we look forward to seeing you at our next events. Stay tuned for the upcoming events!

Last Friday, we hosted the Ali Azimi concert at the Grant Auditorium of Syracuse University. A big thank you to everyone who came out to see the concert from Syracuse and the surrounding areas. Another big thank you to Ali Azimi for allowing us to be part of this wonderful experience. We at the ISA strive to raise the bar and arrange new, inclusive and thrilling events.

'Polaris', directed by Soudabeh Moradian, will be shown tomorrow evening (10.13.19) at 5PM at the Shemin Auditorium of Syracuse University. The event is free. Soudabeh Moradian is a film professor at the Syracuse University. Her recent movie, Polaris, which is the story of a war photographer, is a non-political drama addressing universal human issues.
