Hard to believe this was a year ago The first day that Cuomo ordered bars and restaurants to close, he also changed the liquor license laws to allow us to deliver + serve to-go drinks. I sat soberly reading the news and decided I couldn’t sit by without doing something. So I jumped to action, buying bottles and setting up our delivery program. While the trees blossomed and the flowers bloomed, I rode my bike through empty streets to bring a sense of normalcy to your doorstep. We exchanged nervous laughs and drinks and our hopes for what the rest of the year would look like. I needed it as much as y’all needed the drinks.
