Impact is a faith-based, student-led, character formation program! Students will meet at JHS Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 11:40 to noon, at Jefferson Mondays & Tuesdays from 12:30 to 1 and at Persell: Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:30 to 1 pm. Shout-out to the Jamestown Winter Guard Program who is lucky enough to be able to put on a small show for family members (only 2 people per member) tomorrow night in the McElrath Gym. There are two guards this year, the Varsity Jamestown Express and the JV Jamestown Expressions. They have been working super hard since the middle of January to learn and perfect their shows! Great job! #jpsny

A cool art project at Jefferson Middle School with teacher, Mrs. Corey - Neurographic Art! Students thought about a problem or concern and wrote it on the back of the paper. On the front, they scribbled while focusing on their challenge or problem. Then, they transformed their scribbles with additional lines and color - turning their stress into beauty! What a calming and wonderful way to help students through their problems and concerns with art! #jpsny

Fun winter-themed physical education class for Love Elementary School 2nd graders!

Reminder! Former directors Norman Lydell and Brian Bogey, will be on WJTN AM1240 this Sunday at 4 p.m. with Dennis Webster to highlight music compiled from past A Cappella Vespers. The shows will give insight into the history of Vespers, & the directors will tell stories about the beloved, annual tradition. There will also be a show on Sunday, December 20th at 4 p.m. on WJTN AM 1240! Thank you Media One & Dennis Webster for helping to keep the A Cappella Vespers tradition alive in challenging times! #jpsny

Washington Middle School 5th graders in Mr. Kyser’s art class created The Earth without Art is just eh drawings. Mr. Kyser questioned students on what is art? & reinforced the importance of art in their lives - real-life connections like Nike’s Tinker Hatfield who designed numerous shoes including Air Jordans. The students then drew a visual of how art is important to them. including the catch phrase The Earth without Art is just eh! #jpsny
