March 14-17, 2018 At GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL VANDERBILT HALL Organized by Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Japan Week is a promotional tourism event in New York City that celebrates Japan as a premiere travel destination. Japan Week 2018!!https://www.japanweek.org It’s finally Japan Week 2018, from tomorrow we will be holding our event for 4 days at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall. We are having seven 3D Trick Art that will let you experience iconic tourists spots and Japanese culture while still being in NYC! During the event, we will also be conducting a photo contest PHOTO CONTEST #JapanWeekNYC2018. Take a photo with your favorite 3D trick art and participate in a photo contest... for a chance to win a prize. This year for Japan Week, we will be conducting a photo contest in which visitors can participate by posting their 3D Trick Art photos on their Instagram with the hashtag #JapanWeekNYC2018. Lastly, Three Famous Cherry Blossom Sights in Tohoku owns Kakunodate Samurai District in Akita Prefecture, Senboku city. Kakunodate Samurai District is rich in history and culture. The area around the Hinokinai River in Kakunodate seems frozen in time and is sometimes referred to as the Little Kyoto of Michinoku. Yoshino cherry trees border the river, while weeping cherry trees line streets of old samurai residences. Another cherry blossom park owned by Three Famous Cherry Blossom Sights in Tohoku is called Kitakami tenshochi park in Iwate Prefecture, Kitakami city. Come in late April to enjoy some of the most spectacular cherry blossom sites in Japan. Until the beginning of May, over 10,000 cherry trees are in full bloom in Kitakami’s 725 acre Tenshochi park, with a 2 km path along the Kitakami River, lined with 100 year-old trees. Tenshochi park is officially listed as one of the Top 100 japanese Cherry Blossom Sites and Top 3 Cherry Blossom Sites in the Tohoku Area.
