From our newsletter yesterday (link below) we have a preowned Kanstul 1025 "Chicago" Flugelhorn for $2200! This is a great playing flugelhorn with the "TW" custom modifications, all performed by Kanstul Musical Instruments. This flugelhorn has a horizontal (benge style) 1st valve slide with underslung u-hook for an extremely comfortable left hand grip. All three valves are vented so you do not have that percussive "pop" when pulling slides to empty condensation during rests. ...Custom "Couesnon inspired" bow gard and 3rd valve "duck-foot" brace. Wanted to show you all a fun excerpt from a fabrication project for an 1890’s Conn Cornet where we needed to replace the tuning bit in this step we’re machining the receiver cap!
