Jackie Rayburn's 1st-graders have been learning about different cultures and holidays around the world. To help them understand and celebrate Diwali (festival of lights) they made their own version of Rangoli art using colored sugar. Nice job, students!

Johnson City High School will host a virtual First Night on Thursday, October 22 starting at 5:45 p.m. with an introduction video. Parents/Guardians will be asked to virtually follow their child's schedule starting at 6:00 p.m. and "Meet" with each teacher. Google Meet links are available through your child's Google Classroom for each teacher. Families will receive a mailing with information on how to access Google Classrooms to participate in this event. We look forward to seeing you on virtual First Night!

This is a reminder to our Wildcat families to complete the Student Health Screening on the first day of your child’s in-person attendance each week via the district’s website at www.jcschools.com or through the Johnson City app on your mobile device. Again, this Student Health Screening only needs to be completed one time every week. In addition, don’t forget to take your child’s temperature before he/she comes to school.
