I was saddened to learn that Chief Warrant Officer 2 Daniel Prial, 30, a Warwick native and West Point graduate, was killed on Wednesday when the military helic...opter he was in crashed near Mendon in upstate New York. The release of Chief Warrant Officer Prial’s name by the National Guard brings this tragedy home to Orange County. Members of the military put their lives on the line every day and this accident underscores the dangers and risks that they face. I am saddened by Daniel’s death and my thoughts and prayers are with his family; we are all appreciative of his and their sacrifice.

SANTA CLAUS is coming to town!! The Johnson Fire Department will be escorting Santa around the Johnson and Westtown areas on Saturday, December 5th from 12-4pm.... Feel free to come out and wave to Santa, but due to Covid-19 precautions, Santa will not be stopping to hand out candy canes this year! See more
