Posture is one of those things that every one talks about but is very hard to change. I'm going to start by saying that the ideal posture below is hard to achieve and is not always the best posture for everyone because all of our bodies are different. Postures that are typically defined as "bad" are labeled that way because they tend to cause joint dysfunction and muscular instability. Slight corrections to our spine along with easy to do stabilization exercises at home can help to prevent joint dysfunction and muscular imbalances, causing a decrease in pain related to posture. Although there are some trends to help correct posture to prevent pain, every person needs to find what works for them in order to remain pain free. Give us a call to see if there is anything we can do to help with your aches and pains today!
