Hello fellow quarinteeners. Hoping everyone is well. Baking has slowed but still making family treats. I made a tried and true family cake for my mom in laws 80 th last week. No photo to show. ... Why you ask? Because it was the corona cake. It fell apart, I mean really badly, that’s never happened to me like this and and I glued it back together with icing. It ate the same and tasted fabulous. My son looks at it and says what happened?! He then says oh it’s the Covid cake. Everything turns to Sh_t! We laughed. Moral- eat cake and don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s not worth it. Be safe and eat cake!

Lots of home baking even thought I’ve been deemed essential. Wished I was home more to bake more! I made s’mores rice crispy treats. Marshmallow, chocolate chips and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal. ... Smores in a pan!!!!!! Crazy good!
