Jumper's Creek

It’s taken me a few days to put together the words on how Rue’s loss has effected myself and the entire barn. Rue was one of a kind. Her derpiness made all those who met her fall in love with her instantly. So instead of saying goodbye, we will just say see you later Doozles (as we affectionately called her.) These photos are how we will choose to remember her and all of her silliness. However, make no mistake this mare was fierce when she entered the show ring with her Mom, Sam Cianti, and I would be remiss not to mention how proud I am of all the progress they have made over the past 3 years. Rue, we love you endlessly and will miss you forever. We know you’re eating all the carrots you can fathom and running in the greenest grass fields over the Rainbow Bridge. Love you, Derp.

Another youngster, Eileen Hanley’s, 5 year old Cane aka Sugar Grove, had a great jump school with Danny today. We are so proud of this good boy and are grateful to be entrusted as his trainers. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Cane’s future. This one is a super star .

Had to make a post for my favorite baby palomino doing his first little jump! This boy is really something else: Fancy mover Brave Drop dead gorgeous Sweet as sugar ... How lucky are we?! We can’t wait for this boy to continue to progress. Watch out for Forest aka Emerald City.

It’s been real WEF! We tried 10 horses in close to 24 hours. I am so impressed with Lizzie’s riding ability and stamina. You have no idea how proud you have made me. It’s been such a pleasure watching you grow as a rider and young lady. I am so excited for what the future holds. @samshieldamerica

We would like to officially welcome Alyssa and her horse Calandia aka Callie to Jumper’s Creek. We are so thrilled to have you and your special mare join the team. It’s always a pleasure seeing your smiling face in the barn. Welcome!

It was our first outing at Fairfield County Hunt Club and we were HUGE fans. @scianti1 and her horse, Roulette, started us off in the USHJA/CHJA hunters...they won both over fences, were second in the hack and champion of the division! The pair went on to earn great ribbons in the pre-adult eq and were Reserve Champion! Next up @ava_pearlman and very own Kismet ventured into the 3ft medals. They earned great ribbons in the CHJA, NEHC and M&S medals!... It was so great to see these pairs back in the ring after a little hiatus. We couldn’t be any more proud of Ava, Sam, Kismet and Roulette. These people and animals poured their hearts out into their riding today. We can’t wait until we get to the next show!!

2020 was certainly a different year to say the least, but it has brought many new people into our lives who we are so grateful for. We have been lucky enough to gain several new clients who have also become good friends. We are so lucky to have both our two and four legged friends help us through the ups and downs of 2020. We can not wait to get back into the swing of horse showing on a regular basis. Although our riding is most certainly not all about ribbons and compet...ing we definitely miss the thrill of being in the show ring. We owe so much of our happiness from 2020 to our horses. We are not quite sure how we would have gotten through the year without our equine friends and Jumper’s Creek team. Thank you @shelbyphotography for capturing the beauty of our animals. I have to split this into two separate posts because we have so many horses that we love.

Gama Conzzo or as we affectionately know him as, Goose. This boy is a 7 yr old Argentine Warmblood gelding and is 17.1 hands of pure love. He has show experience through the 1.20 in Argentina with room for more. The higher the jumps go, the better his form is. The best thing about him is his brain....he is unflappable and the bravest youngster we have come across in quite some time. We think he would excel in the equitation ring, jumper ring or even double as a derby horse. He has just enough blood that you don’t have to kick the entire way around the ring. Gama Conzzo affectionately known as Goose completed his first show in the US and you would have thought that he had done this a million times in this setting. He walked away with some great ribbons and even better he did NOT CARE ABOUT ONE SINGLE THING. Goose is available for sale in the mid to high fives. He has an exceptional brain and endless scope. My heart was so happy when My son, Liam, asked to ride today. Then he proceeded to really put in the work and post at the trot! I love watching him love these animals. It helps that Fizz is the most perfect pony girl on the planet Thank you Ava Pearlman and Carrie Pearlman for letting us steal her for a few minutes.

They’re here and they are more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined. I ordered the semi-custom Franco Tucci Harley tall boots and added a patent leather trim. They even engraved my initials in the heel. How cool?! I have been riding in the Tucci half chaps and Harley paddock boots for the past two months and have to say they are the most comfortable boots I have ever ridden in. We have to send a special congratulations to our good friends in California! @rlmtomsic and her girls, Mali and Indi, had a killer two weeks at the National Sunshine Series. You all are looking FABULOUS and the ribbons you won are just the icing on the cake. We love catching up with our post show phone calls and are missing having you in NY! We can’t wait to see you soon.

We ventured out early this morning to show at Old Salem Farm. It was well worth the early ride because our riders and horses did not disappoint! Emma and Espoir HL started us off in section B of the modified child/adult hunters. They earned themselves wonderful ribbons over fences and a win in the under saddle out of a large competitive group! The duo also pinned 3rd in the Bit’ of Straw Classic! We could not be any more impressed with Emma’s growth as a rider. Today she... certainly show cased the hard work she has been putting in at home. Lizzie and Royal Contender also earned wonderful ribbons in section C of the Modified Child/Adult Hunters. The pair was second place in the Bit of Straw! These two continue to impress us with their consistent rounds and we love watching them grow together. Lizzie has made such a smooth transition from pony to horse and we are so proud of her for that. We are excited for this pair to make their 3ft debut shortly! Back in Long Island, Shelby Phillip’s and Alicia Petracca’s very own ,Poulnasherry Bay, showed at Winner’s Circle in the Adult equitation. We aren’t surprised that these two earned awesome ribbons and laid down gorgeous trips. Congratulations on a job well done. We feel incredibly blessed to work with the absolute best people and animals on the planet. Another great show day in the books!

We had so much fun this these two lovely ladies at the Winners Circle Horse Show today. Both of them earned great ribbons in the low children/adult hunters. Meg and Pete won the Bit Of Straw Classic! Sam and Roulette earned themselves a third place in the same class. Looking forward to the rest of the fall horse shows with our team!

@mkedwardsepstein and Espoir HL moved up a division today at Hunters Isle and laid down some very impressive trips. They earned super ribbons in the low child/adult hunters and were 2nd in the M&S Bit of Straw Classic. I feel extremely blessed to work with this duo. Meg never hesitates to tell me how much fun she is having. They always make me proud! Looking forward to their next outing together.

We would like congratulation Samara Caspi on the lease of Poulnasherry Bay! We are so excited to watch these two grow together. Also, wishing a very warm welcome to Jumpers Creek. We are so happy to have you on the team.
