Special Event Station today. WX2ALY for the National Weather Service Skywarn Recognition Day. Station is on the Albany 147.375 (+), 100hz repeater. Easily reached from Fulton and Montgomery counties. Check in and tell them you are with Fulton County ARES and the Tryon Amateur Radio Club. We usually send operators to the NWS in Albany every year to help run the station for the special event, but with COVID-19, the event is being run remotely. You can also find many other NWS stations operating across the country today on HF!
