If you're interested in this position, please contact us on our website at https://www.kal-mfg.com/contact Key Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical drawings, with GD&T specifications Perform First Article Inspections and prepare documentation for submission... Perform in-process and final inspection of machined and sheet metal parts. Audit manufacturing floor for compliance to operational procedures. Perform receiving inspections for outside services and some raw materials Review specifications and traveler documentation for completeness, and accuracy Updated manufacturing documentation as required. Generate reports and manufacturing details as required. Basic Skill Set required. Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task Effective communication skills, must be able to read and write fluently in English Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Hiring - Vertical/Horizontal CNC Machinist - 1st and 2nd shift positions available A shift 7am-330pm. B shift 3pm-130am. - 3-5 years of experience in setup and operation of vertical or horizontal machining centers. - In-depth knowledge of related G-code functions. - Ability to use all related precision measuring equipment and interpret all related drawing requirements.... - Candidate should have all of their own basic shop and quality measurement tools. - Ability to operate the assigned equipment safely and efficiently. - Candidate should be able to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines as well as effectively multi-task. - Candidate must have proven problem-solving and communication skills. - Candidate must be able to work with limited supervision while maintaining a high level of quality and work ethic. - Candidate must have a high school diploma. Some trade school experience is preferred. - A good understanding of GD&T and drawing interpretation. - First piece and In-process inspection knowledge preferable. - Maintain machine and machine tools. - Candidate must be able to pass a drug screening test.
