Thoughts on seat mounting... Use a good fixture. The Tillett piece is very nice, but costs a premium. I use a 90mm x 30mm piece of aluminum extrusion. Extremely rigid, and available all over eBay as "off-cuts". I secure it to the frame with C clamps that have plastic protectors which protect the chassis paint.
