How gorgeous does Liz look in her customized @allurebridals wedding dress? Wishing you and your hubby many, many years of love, laughter and happiness!! ...I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the reason I fell in love with my wedding dress. I had been to countless other wedding dress shops, and no one made me feel as comfortable and listened to as you did. Kim went above and beyond to listen to what I was interested in, and came back with a range of options that matched my wedding dress wish list. The process was smooth and seamless, the dresses gorgeous and the associates dedicated to making sure I walked out happy. You know it's the one when you and Kim both start getting teary eyed! I came in originally with my 2 bridesmaids and we were stuck between 2 dresses. The patience Kim had for me that day was second to none. I came back later that week alone, and together Kim helped me decide what dress I loved...After the decision came a big hug (pre covid of course) and I knew I had made the right choice. As a side note, I went to three other bridal shops in the area. In comparison to your staff, they were pushy, a bit edgy, and made me feel rushed + forced into my decision making. I had heard countless times "well you have to just pick one" or "if you find something you don't like on every dress you'll never make a decision". There was a lot more negativity than I anticipated experiencing but that was NOT the case at M. A. Carr. While your appointments do have a time window to them, I felt like the time was used wisely and not wasted on anything trivial. I did not feel rushed, I felt cared for. Thank you again, I will be sure to send everyone I know to you.

Why do engagement photos? So many reasons! There's no stress on this day, no schedule to stick to and no people watching. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and feel comfortable together before the big day. I can learn about the two of you, what makes you work, and how to make you laugh. You'll get used to being told where to put your hands, spin around, and having a big camera in your face. Learning about your unique personalities will help me tell your story on your wedding day, the way you want it to be told. Plus you'll get some great photos for save-the-dates!

Ready for warm weather on the regular, to bring out all of the gorgeous flowers this year!

My husband and I love to travel! Mostly, we're driven to be outside in nature. Fresh air and quiet gives me a chance to escape and re-center my thoughts and focus. The more I travel, the more I am in awe of this stunning planet we inhabit. My favorite is when we can visit places that showcase drastic differences in scenery - mountains give me a natural high!

I always recommend that my couples schedule half an hour during sunset for a few more couples photos. You'll get that gorgeous golden light, and maybe a new location to add some variety! This sweet couple snuck upstairs to the dance floor of the @hayloftinthegrove while everyone was still eating dinner, and got some beautiful shots in those big barn doors without anyone else around.

Guys, have you heard that the canals in Venice are so clear you can see to the bottom and fish are swimming through them? I wish I could be there to see it, but all of us staying at home is what is helping this happen. Silver linings and all that... looking forward to the time when we can all travel the world again though!
