We had such a great 25th Anniversary celebration at the Kent Cliffs Firehouse on Sunday, September 11th! It was standing room only as everyone enjoyed the food, music, raffles and impromptu performances. We also reminisced about our early years, and the wonderful volunteers who have made the KRC such a success, especially our co-founder, Wilma Baker. Thanks to all who helped make this day so special! It's a big weekend here in Kent NY! First, the Kent Public Library will be publicly dedicating "The Wilma M. Baker Children's Room" at 10:30 am Saturday. Then, we'll be celebrating our 25th Anniversary on Sunday from 3-6 pm at the Kent Cliffs Firehouse on Route 301. We'll be honoring our co-founder, Wilma Baker, then as well! The KRC will be holding its 25th Anniversary celebration on September 11, 2016, from 3-6 pm at the Kent Cliffs Firehouse on Route 301 in Kent. We'll be remembering our dear friend and co-founder of the KRC, Wilma Baker, and we invite our members, Wilma's family, and her friends to join us in this free event. The previous day, September 10th at 10:30 am, the Kent Public Library will be dedicating "The Wilma M. Baker Children's Room" at the library, as they honor their founder. All the details for both events can be found in the attached article, courtesy of the Putnam County Times. Please join us!
