KinetoRehab Physical Therapy is happy to announce that we are preparing to safely welcome patients back to our office located at 3201 Grand Concourse, Suite 1A, Bronx, NY 10468. Starting May 21,2020, our staff are ready to help you with your appointments. While this target date may change, we have been closely monitoring government COVID-19 directives as they develop with the intent to protect the health and safety of our patients and employees. When you come to our office for Physical Therapy services, patients can expect new office protocols that we implement to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 Please be advice that we need everybody’s cooperation. During your visit, patients can expect: Staff will take patient’s temperature and oxygen saturation level and assess symptoms prior to starting PT. Employees and patients wearing face masks/covering. Patients to use the hand sanitizer or wash hands as soon as you enter our facility. Employees frequently sanitizing and spraying high touch surfaces and objects. Sneeze guard panels installed at the reception area and PT evaluation room. The use of HEPA filter air sanitizer with germ fighting UVC air purifier devices to increase clean exchange of ventilation in the rooms. Several chairs were removed in the office and patients are required to keep their schedules to prevent overcrowding the office. The most important thing, we kindly ask patients and employees that if you have any illness related symptoms, such as fever or upper respiratory complication, please DO NOT visit our clinic. I want to reassure our patients that we are doing our best to keep the office clean but we need your cooperation in preventing the spread of COVID-19. However, upon careful consideration and high regard for social distancing recommendations from the CDC and local and state health officials, we have decided it is within the best interests of our staff and patients to temporarily close our office effective Monday, March 23, 2020. We thank you for coming to our office for your physical therapy needs. It is a pleasure for us to serve you! We will contact you as soon as we have a definite date of re-opening of our office. This closure is only temporary. We will open again, serve and provide rehabilitation and Physical Therapy to the Bronx community who we have been serving for more than 8 years. Additional preventive measures we added in our office today, March 16, 2020 to deal with current concerns regarding COVID-19. We are asking patients NOT to come to our clinic if you are not feeling well, has flu or upper respiratory symptoms. Let us all do our part to prevent spreading COVID-19. March 10, 2020 Dear Patients, I want to take this opportunity to personally update you on what we are doing to ensure you have a safe and healthy experience during your visit here at KinetoRehab Physical Therapy office. I always emphasize that safety and well-being of our patients and staff are our number one priority. We are working hard taking preventive measures to deal with current concerns regarding COVID-19. It is already procedure to sanitize exercise equipment, treat...ment tables, and other PT tools but we have added additional daily protocols such as wiping down and spraying high touch surfaces and items like pens, doorknobs, chairs, counters and table tops. Disinfecting sprays, wipes and/or hand sanitizers are continuously being used. We also purchased a sanitizing device called Homesoap that uses UV-C light that has deadly effect on microorganisms such as pathogens, viruses, bacteria, and others. We also invested in germ-fighting air sanitizer and purifier device. This gadget helps protect rooms from germs, viruses, aeroallergens and harmful pollutants in the air and on surfaces. We added additional hand sanitizer dispensers in the office for patients and staff use. In addition to extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols, we posted in the office several materials regarding COVID-19. We are asking all patients to use the hand sanitizer and/or wash hands as soon as you enter and leave our facility. We are requesting patients and staff to always practice common courtesy by covering your cough or sneeze into your arm. We ask that if you have any illness related symptoms, such as fever or upper respiratory complication, please DO NOT visit our clinic. You can contact your medical doctor for more information regarding how to manage any illness related symptoms.
