Ms. Kathy's Family Day Care

Just checking in with fb followers. In the last few years my daycare grew internally. I am at full capacity due to the increase of my school age children. I'm known for my specialty in under two year olds, but due to increase in overall numbers, I will be unable to enroll anyone in the near future. I will re-evaluate daycare numbers and any internal changes prior to the fall of 2020. Thank you to all my fb families, who have given me great reviews and recommendations.

A lot of promising artists have come through Ms. Kathy's. The artist of this masterpiece is my 4 yr old, Alexandra. Here we come Kindergarten, we are ready for you!

"Play with me." There is more to a child's development than academics. Engage your child's imagination through creative play. The literacy will come automatically.

It's not my b'day. Lol. Just checking in to tell you guys how impressed I am with you guys. I am closely following your posts. My parents touched me deeply with their creativity and imagination displayed to keep their kids busy. Each family found ways to keep the kids calm in this new normal. The connection we share is a tremendous inner spirit and love. This was shown by drawing rainbows with colorful chalk on driveways, giving the kids an opportunity to feel their feel...ings. Teacher's offering their services with our home schooling. Thank you Jennifer Cohen. You are a true educator and advocate for children. Trish Papageorge thank you for putting a smile on my face with Alexandra's comedic performances. Of course, loved the muffins Charley made. The birthday parade of cars that passed one of their teammates house beeping horns wishing the bday boy fond wishes blew me away. I spent some of my alone time decluttering. Went through dozens of photos of the children who passed through Ms. Kathy's. I also would like to share some memorable things I kept. The artist and author is Megan Sticco. Enjoy. I am currently looking for someone that can substitute for me when out of town. We are a well established daycare in Kings Park for 28 years. The kids in attendance, while I am away will all be over the age of 2yrs.. There will be no more than 6 kids present during the day, with two care givers. You would be under the direct supervision of the Onsite Provider. I am looking for coverage for Tuesday and Thursdays. Approximate hours would be from 10 to 5. I will be away a few weeks in October. If anyone knows someone that might be interested, you can pvt message me. Please keep in mind that my facility is under New York State guidelines. You will have to go through some clearances. Process not a big deal. Once your cleared, you will have the opportunity to make some extra cash. Thanks in advance for spreading the word.

Saturday night was amazing. I got to celebrate one of our Alumni, Breanna, starring as Alma Hix in 'The Music Man Jr. Breanna is growing into this bright talented woman. Love her thirst for what she is passionate about. I encourage my day care girls to believe in themselves and that they can be whatever they want to be. Breanna you rock. Love you

We had a visit from one of our alumni today. The timing was great. We were able to have a early celebration for Isabelle's 3rd bday. Yep from zero temps to a beautiful Long Island day. Even Casey is hot. She thrives in single digit temps.
