Reopen update ##: Thank you to everyone for being so patient while we prepare to reopen. We were hoping to reopen next Tuesday but are being held up by a C of O, as soon as we receive it, we will announce a concrete date. Thank you so much for bearing with us.

Reopening update: Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing as well as you can given our current circumstances. We were recently notified that acupuncturists have been declared essential with some restrictions. Until Ulster county moves to Phase 2 patients will require a doctor’s note for their treatments. Our state board is working to remove this requirement at the moment but until that happens we ask that all returning and new patients acquire a referral from their doctor p...rior to treatment. We are now in the planning stages of reopening the clinic. We will be following CDC and EPA required best practices to keep everyone as safe as possible while visiting the clinic. We will update you with some mandatory changes as to how the clinic will operate in the following weeks. Many of you know that we were preparing to move to 16 Lucas avenue before shutdown and we are now in the process of moving our office to the new location. It will be located in the back part of the building adjacent to Spa 21 in Suite 101. We are on the ground floor and there are ample free parking spots right out front of our entrance! There are still some finishing touches needed for the new office space but we are hoping to open during the first week of June. As soon as we have a date locked down we will update social media and call those who requested to be notified directly

Some of you may recognize this video as I send it to patients often. The 8 Brocade is a commonly practiced Qi Gong Form. The acupuncture community was sent documents from a TCM hospital in Hubei where they had a high success rate treating severe COVID-19 cases. In their documentation of treatment protocols, this was the Qi Gong routine they had their staff and patients do to help them stay healthy and to help patients who were convalescing get stronger. It is also a great ro...utine to help stay grounded and centered throughout this period. Affects are cumulative and it is best to do this exercise in the morning or afternoon. Make sure you drop your tailbone when you are in standing posture. This routine can be done seated if you have back problems and you do not need to go into the squats as deeply as the teacher does. COVID-19 Update: Due to the current community spread of COVID-19 and the latest Ulster County Executive’s decision to close schools in our area, we have decided to take precautionary measures and close our office until further notice. Once we have been given the approval to reopen we will update this post. You may book future appointments by clicking the Book Now button on the top right of this page or call us at 845-339-5653.... For patients that need refills on their existing formulas please call and leave a message and we can arrange to have them delivered to you.

COVID-19 update on precautionary measures: We would like to keep everyone up to date on our current clinic policy and the precautionary measures we are taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For the past month, when we first learned how fast COVID-19 was spreading combined with a particularly bad flu season we decided to ask patients who were exhibiting any cold and flu symptoms not to come in for appointments.... We have been practicing standard CDC recommended surface disinfection methods as well as asking patients to wash their hands or use the Hand Sanitizer that we provide at the front desk before entering the clinic for treatment. Our latest measure is to take the oral temperature of everyone coming into the clinic. Anyone who registers a temperature will be asked to cancel their appointment. Until we are advised by the CDC to take further steps, these are the steps we are taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
