We often get asked where the name Kin Loch comes from. Well, here it is! Our family owned several Scottish restaurants in the Syracuse area, including the Kin Loch restaurant (see the bottom vintage postcard). In gaelic kin means family and loch means lake. It just so happens that our farm use to be covered by Lake Ontario and since our vision was to be a place where families could unite, the namesake just made sense. Sadly Glen Loch and Kin Loch restaurants are no longer in business but Brae Loch Inn is still going strong so swing by for some Scotch with my uncle Jimmy and Aunt Val if you’re ever in Cazenovia, NY!

Help needed! Anyone in the Cambria or Niagara County area able to till up some land for me? Looking to do about 300 sq foot area (as seen in video) plus another 60’ x 12’ area. Tulips and pollinator garden project is underway!!!

If lavender fans are known for one thing it’s their love of boogie-soul rock music. So to give the people what they want we are hosting Lockport’s own Handsome Jack @handsomejackband at the barn Friday night for a live streamed show. If your not familiar with the band you should check them out not only because they are legit awesome but because it’s important to support local artists in these difficult times. The show is online only and will be streamed over their Facebook page. So have some friends over this Friday night for some drinks, lavender scented candles and great music!

We had limited the number of tickets to u-pick this morning to make sure we were able to maintain proper social distancing measures.
