Fix Your Face Friday! Here’s a pro tip for when you’re shopping for a headshot or portrait photographer. Bigger can be better! ... While it’s great to have access to lots of options while you’re surfing on your phone it’s important to take a moment to view a photographers work on a screen who’s size is closer to what you’re going to hand across the table at an audition. Once you have someone whos work you like, look at their photos on a good sized screen. A lot can happen between makeup and retouching as well as general composition choices you don’t see on Instagram. Take the time and do your research right!

It’s another installation of Fix Your Face Friday!!! This week- Smiles. Don’t over think your smile. A lot of clients comment about specific things they don’t love when they smile. I say, let it rip! Have fun! If that photo doesn’t wind up being what you love there is a really good chance the next few will be a tamer amazing version. Also, it’s just more fun!

If you need some photos with glasses consider popping the lenses out for your shoot. It will give you many more options without glare. It may even be worth it to find an inexpensive similar pair of frames for your shoot. You’ll be able to use them again next session!
