Small gifts and stocking stuffers

The Narrows in Zion National Park is a 9(ish) mile hike, 7 of which is literally done in The Virgin River. The water ranges from ankle height to waist height and footing is mostly very smoothed rock and some sand. Glistening, mostly hues of red, the gorge walls rise a thousand feet above in some places. Otherworldly.

A lost sailor... unsure where he is going, but going nonetheless. Champ has been a favorite symbol of mine since migrating to Northern NY... plastered about th...e small businesses; it is a whimsical story of a creature to have supposedly inhabited the waters of Lake Champlain. Similar to the Lochness Monster.. as he was large in size and something no one has ever seen before. Whether he is a myth or not he in my eyes represents a lost sailor... driftin' and dreamin'.
