The alpacas get sheared in 2 weeks! Time is running out if you hoped to see them all fluffy! It takes a whole year to grow in their amazing fleece, so now is your chance to see the great job they did! Farm Visits are $10/person and children under 1 are free. Our friend’s dog ‘Ford’ will apparently only drink from a dripping water source like this one. After running around and meeting the alpacas for a while, he finally needed a sip! Too cute Ford!

One of our guests, Lex, made his own drop spindles and is teaching himself to spin alpaca fiber from our herd!! Way to go Lex!! This is from our studly light gray alpaca, G-Ray!

Just sold the last pound of Rocky’s beautiful charcoal gray fiber to an upcoming young spinner from Rochester. Can you believe this bowl-full is just a pound?! Looks pretty cool...just like Rocky!

Look at these silly goofs! White Knight is walking around with hay on his face like it’s totally normal... and Tucky is always poised like a viking ship, LOL. Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe these guys are just a little more than halfway grown in? It’s amazing to think that their fiber will be almost twice as fluffy by May when they get shorn!
