We have tickets for Cliffside Coaster through the end of April available in our online store! We have made some changes to online store availability, there are only a limited amount of tickets available online for pre-sale. For the health and safety of our guests, we have had to make the hard choice of closing the Cliffside Coaster again today, 12/27/2020. The reason for this closure is due to ice build-up on the track from the rapid weather changes over the past couple of days. We are actively working on resolving the issue and look forward to opening for all of our riders!

The Cliffside Coaster will be closed today. If you have already purchased tickets, our frontline staff will be contacting you directly. Thank you for your understanding and we look for to a great Christmas Week at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.

Important Season Pass Deadline Information!

Over at the Lake Placid Nordic side of Mt. Van Hoevenberg, we are taking advantage of the colder weather and making as much snow as possible. Our snowguns have been blasting the past 48 hours, and we should have the new stadium area (featuring flatter/beginner friendlier terrain) open by the end of the week. For those who haven't heard, we have expanded our snowmaking abilities. This expansion will allow us to cover our new 5km of trails in 3-4 days. This gives us the ability to offer training and skiing earlier than ever before.

On this Mt. Van Hoevenberg Monday we are taking a peek inside of the new Mountain Pass Lodge, where we have 2 retail spaces. Here are some pictures of one of those retails spaces! We have winter hats from @turtlefur, sweatshirts, glassware, sunglasses & more! This retail space is currently open on weekends, stop in, and see us! *Reminder, face coverings & social distancing are required at all times while at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.*

Snowmaking at the Lake Placid Nordic Center side of Mt. Van Hoevenberg has officially begun with our brand new systems! That means skiing isn’t too far away. We are getting closer to the opening of our trails & lodge! We will keep you posted on opening day plans!

Construction around the new Mountain Pass Lodge is almost finished. The Mountain Pass Lodge will be the hub of Mt. Van Hoevenberg, featuring 2 retails spaces (...1 exclusive to Mt. Van Hoevenberg & North America), lounge space, bar area, food service, new public wax rooms w/ventilation, rental shop & more. Features still to be installed include, outside firepits, & RFID direct to trail access gates. We can’t wait to share the Mountain Pass Lodge with you!
