I’ve been not so quietly getting a new studio together. Tonight I went through the whole process from concept to completion and it worked! I’ll be opening her up for workshops as soon as I get the thumbs up from the town. It’s looking good!

Screen printing some calendar prints for the annual Flower City Art Center fund raiser. This was created using a split screen, a black screen and a sprinkle of glitter... for Alan.

Finally!!! We had a post lockdown screen printing class at the Flower City Arts Center. Masks on, squeegees ready! let the ink fly!

We tie dyed our first shirts this weekend. I think they came out pretty good. I see this as an add on to a screen printing class down the road. Fun!

Thanks to everyone that stopped out today. I cleared out two boxes of old and odd stock from the studio. It was nice to just be out among people.

Like him or not, I always thought this was a neat little clip. His technique seems so messed up however, the print come out as only his would. Sweet!

So, as I heal up here it’s time for a little inspiration. I’m about 1/2 way through @bobbyhundreds book, This is not a T-shirt and I am loving it. If you want to know where the ideas of great brands start check this out. It’s a lot more than ink on a screen. Next up I just picked up Pulled A catalog of screen printing Books like this are helpful when your a one man or woman show. Sometimes we get so locked into one way of thinking we forget how versatile the art of screen... printing can be. And finally a 10 year catalog of @upperplayground its a collection of designs that is sure to spark some creativity in you. Love it! I’m always looking for new. Books to add to the collection.
