Over the last few weeks we've been lucky to have Barnard Fire Department and Lake Shore Fire Department swing in for a few hours on each group so our personnel ...could explore and understand our mutual aid companies equipment and capabilities. The Town of Greece has four fire districts operating seperately on a day to day basis, however, at any given time each individual district or multiple districts can be used to help during a unique or difficult incident. While each district has its own special concerns, the town as a whole presents a myriad of possibilities for calls for service. Knowing each others equipment and being able to utilize each other's expertise and resources for a common goal is something we all pride ourselves on. Thank you to Lieutenant Vasey from LSFD and Chief Dorgan from BFD for bringing Rescue's 208 and 228 for us to look over.

Late last night we were called for the brush fire in the area. Engine 203 went on scene with a large brush fire. Hilton Fire Department provided mutual aid to the scene. Crews remained on scene until about 2am, thankfully no one was injured and no personal property was damaged.
