Just a few new additions back out on the floor. A fresh new restock of all kinds of keitech products as well as a bunch of new sunline and seaguar line. We also have refilled our berkley wall with a wide variety of flicker minnow sizes as well as flicker shad. More and more products are being added daily so don’t wait around long as product will be scarce all summer.

We will be open from 6am-noon tomorrow. We hope everyone of you has a great Easter.

Did a little night time reservoir fishing got this absolute tank on a keitech football jig with a Damiki air craw.

If anyone is looking we do have bait in now with the ice season ended. We have spikes, meal worms, trout worms, dillies, crawlers, and minnows.

It’s that time of year where the fish are coming shallow with more and more being taken each night all over the lake. Here are some different baits that have been working for us over the past month in different locations on the water whether on shore or by boat. We are getting more and more sticks in each week to give you a nice selection for the fall bite.

For anyone interested with a boat this supports a great cause for such a great kid who passed at a way too young age. Tournament is this Saturday and you can sign up here. It is limited to 25 spots.

Evening Fishing report 7-6-20 by Ed Hatten Hot days make for some brutal conditions to fish yet last night as the sun faded the fish decided it was time. Hopped around for a few bites and started jigging with marks close to the bottom and the recent bug hatch. 15-17 fow and pulled a 18 off a Joker jig. Tried casting with a worm harness as well yet the .03 mph drift was not enough to keep me covering the ground I wanted.... Started trolling small crankbaits with a three rod spread off boards. Down 10 over 17 feet and hit a single and a double pretty quick. Trolling you will be cleaning boards and lines. There is a lot of floating grass, silk seaweed, and the water fleas are collecting at the snap and swivel. Lots of fish push into the summer pattern spreading out on the flats. Many are in the good bright green weeds. Both the jig and spinner bite is hot, jerkbaits and slow retrieve cranks over the weeds is producing them as well with a mix of bass and pickerel and the occasional sheephead. Solo trip last night was comfortable. Other than the Monday night bass crew, traffic was light and fighting was good. Tight lines!

Fishing report 7-4-2020 by Ed Hatten This week continues to show the lake is hot with a great bite! Over the past week trolling crankbaits in the upper third of the water column has produced a lot of nice fish. Metallic colors on sunny days and natural colors on cloudy days have been great producers. Because of the eefly hatch (mayfly) the eyes continue to gorge themselves and have also been caught on transition edges as well as deep with bucktail jigs in brown or purple bein...g top producers. Last we went out this morning to test the worm harness bite trolling. The Lakeside Outfitters ROTJAW trolling harnesses were spot on. Check out these two beautiful walleye. Both were taken in 14-16 foot depths over 27 FOW. Yes, I was fishing them high. They also worked low, yet I was testing a theory. The eyes were coming up and hitting the bugs (bug line) in the water column) noted by the fuzz on the graph. Was visited by the DEC on the water today. All was good and great to have them on the water making sure rules are followed and ensuring safety. Two great guys, very good discussion. Happy birthday America. Tight lines to you all. Just a quick product update for anyone interested. A little side not for all of our customers whether you are an existing or new a little tip for the remainder of the season. Do not wait to get product there isn’t any out there to wait around for. This may be the year that you have to go learn some new colors or new baits. It’s not getting better anytime soon.

Jerkbait bite is coming on strong again for walleye and bass in the shallows as the weeds are starting to take shape. Come and get these Duo Realis killers while we are able to get them. Inventory on everything is getting harder and harder by the day to come across so don’t be late.
