We have been dealing with poor posture in our patients for years. This one is a new finding. Crazy how the body adapts to incorrect posturing! https://apple.news/AtXGAGYDLQtCLxt6hnk_oOQ

Ok so I found this carrot that looked like a femur. It took me 2 days to get a picture of it with my femur pen. I have been dying to post this but could not come up with a caption. So have it... I just needed to share. The pic in the right was when it was healthier!

Look at how much pressure that sitting with poor posture puts on your spine!!! Throw a towel roll behind your low back when you sit, you will be amazed how much it helps out your neck!

At LaMarco Physical Therapy, the health and safety of our patients is always a top priority. As such, we are diligently monitoring updates to the Coronavirus or COVID-19. We understand this is a challenging time for us, but want to reassure you that we are committed to using preventive measures such as disinfecting our equipment and countertops, washing our hands frequently, and using alcohol-based sanitizer to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, as well as cold and flu. In ad...dition to our regular cleaning practices, we are elevating our procedures to keep our clinics a safe and welcoming place for our patients and staff: We have increased the frequency of wiping down equipment after each use as well as keyboards, doorknobs, and desktop surfaces. We have encouraged staff to communicate with patients and each other in a proactive stance and respond to clinical signs and symptoms of the virus. We are encouraging all patients and staff to wash your hands BEFORE and AFTER your therapy with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. As appropriate, we will use sanitary gloves for any hands on/manual therapy. In addition to our measures, we ask that our patients: Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then discard the tissue in the trash. Keep disinfectant wipes with you. We have also strategically placed hand sanitizers and wipes throughout our clinics. If you are not feeling well contact the office about rescheduling your next appointment at (518) 587-3256. If you have been tested for COVID-19 it is best that you wait until your test results are final, and as long as you are negative, you may resume your rehabilitation program. We kindly ask that if you are experiencing any of the common cold or flulike symptoms, that you allow our patient care coordinators to reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better. We look forward to your next therapy visit, and we want to ensure that your health and safety is a top priority at LaMarco Physical Therapy. This is an evolving situation that we are monitoring closely to ensure all proper precautions are taken to make your therapy at LaMarco Physical Therapy a safe place for you and our team. If you have any questions about your safety and care please speak with your therapist. We will continue to update you as conditions evolve. Sincerely, James B. Markwica, MSPT
