As you know, The Cavalcade Of Cars has been producing 27 years of indoor car show excellence. We are disappointed to announce, that due to Covid-19 restrictions... and our desire to keep everyone safe and healthy, the 28th show that would of been March 5,6 and 7th of 2021, will not be held this year. We are working diligently to reschedule the first ever Syracuse Cavalcade of Cars for the month of April instead of March but feel the same restrictions will still exist at that time. We will notify you as to the status of the Syracuse show in the upcoming weeks. We sincerely appreciate your interest and ongoing support of The Cavalcade of Cars. Rest assured that we are in the process refunding all of the funds received back to those who registered and sponsored this event. Please be stay safe, healthy and let’s hope for a summer of outdoor events. Thanks- Roger & Doug

Hoping for full grandstands in 2021!
Happy New Year!!
With great sadness, our racing family has lost one of our own, Mateo Hope. He had the brightest smile, kind heart, and always there to give a helping hand. Matt "Mateo" had helped many racing teams throughout the years and was always the first to offer advice and support to anyone in the racing community. We offer Matt's family our deepest condolences. Godspeed
A Man who has taught us all how great we are, flaws and all. Devoted Contributor to our Racers and Community, You will be missed Gene Stevenson. RIP My Friend.
I don’t believe I posted this yet. If I did enjoy it again. Lancaster 1960. The black and white #71 my father raced this car for local Lockport attorney Antho...ny Ben. My mother was shooting this footage. It must have been a special show that day as they brought the cars to the infield to pit. They didn’t usually do that. Also featured this day were the modifieds racing with the supers. The red and white 38 is Kenny Meahl in Cook’s car. Also you can see Ed Ortiz, Cam Gagliardi, maybe Jeno Bigelo ? The three men walking into the stands from the track are left to right, my father, 17 year old Gerry Cook and crew member Fenton Bullard. Other recognized are Ron Wagner in the 5, Fran Schwartz in the 6 and Elmer Elliott in the silver 17. I believe the Smokers were the ones to beat. See more
Our hearts are heavy tonight with mourning the loss of a long time WNY and Lancaster supporter Gene Stevenson. Gene was a staple of the racing community where on race day he would always be one of the first in line to lend a hand or be one of the first haulers in line on race day. Speedway management would like to send our deepest condolences to the Stevenson/Carbone racing team! God Speed Gene
Thank you Hummel Motorsports !!

Chris Kujawski and Ryan Zimmer Autumn Classic winners at NYIRP Lancaster Dragway Lancaster, NY October 17, 2020 The real winner of the day was Mother Nature who threw cold temperatures, wind, clouds and rain at us while we tried to run the 2nd Annual Fall Classic. We put up a good fight! Battling a 2 hour rain delay and an oil down, we tried to complete the race but cold temperatures forced a split in the Junior Dragster classes, the Box class of the Autumn Classic and ...the finish of the Race of Champions. In the final of the No-Box Race of Champions were Roger Kieffer (2019 RoC winner) and Jeff Kerl. Six drivers were still on the Box ladder: Greg Kerl, Lucas Salemi, Joe Karosik, Jeff Sobczynski, Jim Fix and George Pease. They split the purse but will run off in the Spring for the $250 bonus and the IHRA Ironman. Chris Kujawski won the No-Box Race His opponent was Ken Hawkins who bested Kujawski off the line but broke out when Kujawski’s car ran dead on. Ryan Zimmer won Street in an all Pickup truck finale with Chris Dugas. The margin of victory was .002. This was the last points race for the season. Wednesday Night Grudge Drags will take place this Wednesday October 21, weather permitting. Please see our Facebook pages for more information about the 2020 Awards Banquet and the 2021 season. NYIRP Lancaster Dragway would like to thank every member of our incredible drag staff, the racers and the track supporters who came together through this incredibly challenging season. As one of the Junior Dragster driver’s parents said yesterday, Drag racing saved our summer!
