While we are dark, we at the Landmark want to hear from you! Share your stories and memories of your best times at the Landmark by emailing photos or short videos to [email protected] or [email protected] and we’ll share with the community. Great shows, special events, playbills and keepsakes... we want them all!
We may not be able to open, but that doesn't mean you have to miss the new Warren Miller event! Tune in for Warren Miller’s Future Retro, to revel in 71 years of movie magic with fresh stories and perspectives from across the globe, heroes from the glory days and that retro energy keeping the winter dream alive. Don’t miss this collective experience, streaming virtually this November 7-9. A portion of each ticket sold will help support the Landmark Theatre when you use this... link. Tickets and information can be found here: https://www.showclix.com//warren-mill/tag/LandmarkSyracuse
Due to the Salina St. construction and a scheduled water outage during business hours, the Landmark Theatre Box Office will be closed on October 29. Landmark staff will be working from home to address any questions you may have.
Here is a picture of the completed monument window restoration. We still need to hang a curtain behind it, but we are so pleased to have this long delayed project behind us. The third picture of our musician's gallery shows what looks like a reverse angle of the window which has been walled over. But looks can be quite deceiving! If you look closely at the exterior pictures you can see the outline of the interior arch in the lower right.
We trust Ashley when it comes to showtune playlists.
Repairing this three-story monument window is an important and unsung aspect of our Marquee project, helping to keep the elements where they should be. But it also looks pretty nice. Here's hoping for good weather once the scaffold comes down so we can get you some updated pictures.
We are here for the Downtown Living Tour!
We will see you tomorrow from 11a-3p for the Downtown Living Tour. The Landmark will be set up at the corner of Salina and Jefferson Streets and we're bringing t-shirts. It will be a beautiful day so come say hi!
Hosting the Syracuse stop of David Byrne's American Utopia tour was a pleasure and an honor. This will be a wonderful reminder of that evening, though not a substitute for being there.
Take a few minutes to enjoy the first couple rounds of an epic drum battle between Dave Grohl (51) and Nandi Bushell (10) and start your weekend the right way: https://news.avclub.com/dave-grohl-is-in-a-drum-battle-with https://news.avclub.com/dave-grohl-escalates-drum-battle-wi... Just putting it out there that if Mr. Grohl and Ms. Bushell wish to stage their drum battle in person, the Landmark will make space available.
The Downtown Living Tour is Saturday, September 26! Come experience what downtown Syracuse has to offer and say hi to your friends at the Landmark while you do. We'll be set up with Landmark T-Shirts and marquee letters! Tickets are available online until Sunday, September 20! Get them while they're fresh.
We are so grateful to the Syracuse Industrial Development Agency for this grant opportunity. With their help, the Landmark will be able to make the infrastructure changes necessary to our HVAC system to help keep our guests safe when we reopen.
The Landmark may be dark, but theatre will find a way. Please take a look at the offerings of Syracuse Stage's reimagined season.
Advance Media is launching the 2020 CNY Readers' Choice Awards! If you miss coming out to the Landmark, please consider nominating us in the Entertainment Venue category!
