Our neighboring commercial space on the corner of Arnett Blvd and Rugby Ave (366 Arnett Blvd, former Ms. Mae’s store) is exploring opening a indoor public market-style store that would contain space for 8-10 vendors with the opportunity to rent anywhere from several days per week, seasonally, or a couple times a year. Due to COVID-19, there is an aluminum can shortage and Coca-cola has reduced their product offering. As a result, we are no longer able to get Fanta Orange, Fanta Grape or Minute Maid Lemonade for our vending machine. They have been replaced by Brisk Lemon Tea, Mountain Dew, and Orange Crush. Our current selection includes: Pepsi Diet Pepsi... Coca-Cola Classic Sprite Orange Crush Brisk Lemon Tea Mountain Dew Canada Dry Ginger Ale If you have any suggestions for a different drink to be available, please let us know.

For our customers convenience and the enhance the ongoing cleanliness of the laundromat, we have made a broom and dust pan available for customer use.

Laundromats are considered essential businesses and are not affected by Governor Cuomo’s recently announced temporary closure of all non-essential businesses. Laundry On Arnett will be open regular hours 7:00 AM-9:00PM, last wash at 8:00 PM. If you need special accommodations give us a call or send us a message.... Public Service Announcement from Rochester City School District Superintendent: This is uncharted territory for our community and our nation. It is also an opportunity for us to come together and support one another. After meeting with Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, and Dr. Michael Mendoza it has been decided that all Monroe County Public Schools will be closed to students beginning Monday, March 16 until further notice. Staff may be asked to report depending on indivi...dual district needs. This closing includes all school-related activities including sports and other extracurricular activities. Each individual school district will share more specific information regarding their plans for food, social supports, remote instruction and other operational procedures with their individual communities. You will be given more information about RCSD specific plans tomorrow. The Monroe County Health Department and school leaders will be reviewing this decision on a week-to-week basis and providing an update by midday Friday. Please continue to watch for additional information from me over the next 24-48 hours. I will be meeting with County, City, and local health authorities regarding our next steps. Our new vending machine is installed and drinks are being sold for $1.00/twelve ounce can. UPDATED: It is currently stocked with ginger ale, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Coke, Sprite, Orange Fanta, Grape Fanta and Minute Maid Lemonade. If there is something you would like to see sold (that you would purchase) please let us know.

Announcement: We will be installing a drink vending machine that dispenses 12 oz cans and selling them for $1 starting in a few weeks. I’d like to offer a variety of selections so that there is something for everyone. I am not tied specifically to Pepsi or Coke products despite the labeling on the machine. We are excited that our neighboring business is reopening!!!

Please do not overload the machines, this results in socks and other small cloth items flying out of the tub during the spin cycle and into the the drain tub then it gets caught in the water pump causing snapped belts and burned out water pumps.

We are closed for the holiday and will reopen Friday November 29th. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We are looking for someone who is dependable with reliable transportation to do wash and fold laundry for Laundry On Arnett (362 Arnett Blvd). I have two clients who I currently do pick-up/drop off laundry service for (one in the 19th Ward and another at U of R) on Thursdays. A qualified candidate is free to market wash and fold service through Laundry On Arnett and grow their own client list.... I currently charge clients $1.75/lb of laundry. Wash and fold orders are typically 15-50 lbs and sometimes more. If I bring the client then the candidate will pay a 10% marketing charge plus the cost of machines, an example would be below: 50 lbs of laundry x$1.75/lb = $87.50 -$8.75 (10% fee) -$7.50 (5 loads @$1.50 per wash) -$10 (5 loads @$2.00 per dry) Profit = $61.25 10% fee is waived for clients brought by the candidate. This is a great opportunity for a motivated person with a flexible schedule to make some extra money. Call 585-413-3673 if interested.

Since sewing is related to repairing clothes thought this would be a good thing for our customers to know about: Sewing Machine 101/102 September 17 from 11-1 and 4-6 September 21 from 2-4PM... Make friends with a sewing machine in our shop or bring yours from home. We will take you through the basics of machine operation and safety, and guide you toward sewing a project.
