A proposed class action lawsuit was filed in Federal Court alleging that Case Western Reserve Univ. improperly retained the full amount of tuition and fees -- even those the University failed to provide the full amount of in-person and on-campus services during the Spring 2020 semester. According to the allegations of the complaint, because students failed to receive all of the services and educational opportunities that they contracted to receive and paid for, the University should not be entitled to keep those profits if they were unable to provide the services.

Former Rallye Collision Center customer files class action lawsuit, alleging that customers were defrauded by Rallye's deceptive practices. According to the complaint filed in New York State Court, Nassau County, on Aug. 10, 2020, customers did not receive all of parts or labor that they paid for -- and that Rallye provided customers with documents that were inaccurate. As alleged, the deceptive scheme resulted in customers driving cars that were not properly repaired and were less safe.
