Friday 3/26 Lunch Special $7 lentil soup & kibbeh Add a drink or dessert for +$1.50 11am-2pm only! 585-434-0441 to order... Mmmmm one of my favorite comfort meals. Our traditional red lentil soup with a lemony kick, blended smoothly for a great gloomy weather pick-me-up paired with the perfectly crispy, fried mini-kibbeh. We handmake our kibbeh in-house, carefully shaping each one into it's traditional football form and carefully stuffing it with a delicious ground beef mixture.

It might not be one of the big names in Levantine cuisine, but this is a hearty working person's salad. Pearled barley is mixed with warm, aromatic spices, a little bit of pomegranate molasses, and pistachios then topped with scallions, feta cheese and craisins (pomegranate arils are out of season - sorry ). This grainy goodness has the perfect balance of savory & tart and soft & crunchy. The falafels on the side give you that bit of fried goodness that we all crave in the middle of a workday. Need it vegan? Just ask!

Weekend Special Pumpkin Stew! Abu Basti! Traditional $9 Vegan $8 Friday 10/16 & Saturday 10/17 ... 585-434-0441 Pumpkin is not native to the Middle East, but it is still a beloved ingredient in lots of colder weather dishes. Abu Basti is a savory tomato-based stew with tender pumpkin, chickpeas and beef kofta meatballs over rice. We even have a vegan option sans kofta as well! Sprinkle some cumin on top to really kick up the flavor Yummmm! After you've had yours, tell us how you liked it!

Sunday Funday! Hummus & Barley salad are two of our faves from the mezze menu. Fun fact about hummus: in Damascus, folks will judge a hummus seller based on how much tahini they use. Those who use the correct, hearty amount of tahini are considered generous and the ones who skimp are stingy. We'll never be stingy and will always make ours the traditional, generous way with lots of that flavorful, liquid gold. Plus, tahini is full of antioxidants and healthy fats, so eat up!

Weekend Special! $9 only! Adventure Awaits! Fri 10/2 - Sun 10/4 A classic vegetarian Syrian dish called - Haraq Osbao... Lentils and egg noodles with a super powerful kick of cilantro-garlic paste, topped with pita croutons, craisins, and carmelized onions. I can't compare it to anything in American cuisine, but oh maaaaan is this one of my favorite dishes to nosh! The lentil and noodle base fills you up with warm carby goodness and the cilantro-garlic paste wakes up your palate. The pita croutons add a nice crunch, and the craisins counter the garlic and salt with little bites of sweetness. Yes, this is probably our of your comfort zone, but you'll be so glad you have it a shot! We wouldn't steer you wrong! Although if you don't like cilantro, garlic, onions, or a little saltiness, this might not be the dish for you.
