Housing Specialist-Lewis County Opportunities, Inc. This is a Full Time, non-exempt position of 35 hours/week that will be housed in the New Bremen office. The wage range is $12.50/hr. $20.26/hr. The incumbent will perform all functions related to the general operation of the Housing Assistance Program. These duties include, but are not limited to, conducting enrollment interviews to determine eligibility, conducting housing inspections, maintaining landlord and tenant rela...tionships, record keeping, and disseminating educational materials. The incumbent must minimally possess a High School diploma or equivalent; with a preference of relevant college coursework or experience directly related to the job requirements. NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER PROGRAM COORDINATOR Lewis County Opportunities, Inc. Full Time/35 hours per week. Wage range is $16.00 - $19.00/ hour. The incumbent is primarily responsible for a wide range of services to consumers at a walk-in satellite office in Lowville. This includes the coordination of all program services, non-supervisory oversight of personnel, development of educational and outreach materials relating to consumer programs and activities, and tracking of all a...nticipated performance measures to ensure compliance. The incumbent must possess an Associate’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Health, or other human service major; or an equivalent combination of experience and education related to the job requirements. Additionally, two years of appropriate knowledge with community action/development is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word, Access, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
