From the FCC: The first Commissioner at the FCC to host a podcast, Commissioner [Jessica] Rosenworcel began the podcast two years ago to amplify the voices of women from across the technology, innovation, and media sectors.

The panel titled Getting Back to Business, sponsored by the Society for Scholarly Publishing’s Scholarly Kitchen blog, offered opinions from a range of scholarly publishing stakeholders, including representatives from a university library, research society, nonprofit, and publishing consultant.

While many libraries have a longstanding commitment to producing programs that promote dialogue around equity, diversity, and inclusion, new presenting models need to be considered to see if libraries can have a greater and more tangible impact on advancing antiracism.

This really raises attention to the need to preserve these collections. They capture the history of these lands, these resources, that could be erased by fires and natural disasters.

While the nation is on tenterhooks waiting for votes to be tallied in the general election, a number of critical library ballot measures were decided on election dayand the wins far outnumbered the losses.
