Volunteer at GrowTogether 2019! OperationGreenthumb is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist at the 35th Annual GrowTogether on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at CUNY Graduate Center in Manhattan. Volunteer Requirements:... Must be 18 or older. and able to help at the conference the entire time, from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. *Breakfast, lunch, and a t-shirt will be provided. OGT is recruiting volunteers to help with various tasks at the gardening conference. Volunteers should indicate their interest on the volunteer form and will be assigned by OGT on a first come, first serve basis. Assignments include: -Signing in participants at registration table -Helping at give out conference t-shirts at giveaway area -Supporting workshop facilitators in classrooms, manage attendees if rooms fill up, and direct/assist attendees to classrooms -Guiding and directing participants to location of events throughout the day -Assisting with setting up breakfast and giving out lunch -Assisting with family activities, like games and arts & crafts, for children -Assisting gardeners signing up for social media and helping with live streaming the opening ceremony For more information and to register as a volunteer please see https://greenthumb.nycgovparks.org/news.html?news_id=432 (Published 01/28/19) For any questions, please contact OGT via email at [email protected]
