Hello everyone! Ms. Shelby here sharing my favorite no cook play dough recipe! Ingredients: 2 cups plain flour 1 cup salt... 1 cup cold water 1 tbs vegetable oil Liquid food coloring Method: Step 1: In a large bowl, add the flour and salt and stir. Step 2: Add the water, oil, drops of food coloring (add as many drops as you like to get the desired hue) Step 3: Knead the mixture until it has a play dough consistency (you may need to help with this bit to ensure it’s well-kneaded). Tip! If consistency is too wet, add a little more plain flour Have fun making different colored batches!

Hello everyone! Ms. Shelby here :D I know being stuck at home can sometimes find you looking for different things to do with your children, but a fun way to pass the time is by doing different activities! My personal favorite kinds of activities to do with kids is science experiments! One of my favorite experiments that you can do at home is elephants toothpaste! You'll Need the following materials: 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide 1 cup... A big squirt of dish soap One table spoon of Dry Yeast Three table spoons of warm water Large tub or tray to catch the foam Location for the activity that can tolerate spills (of hydrogen peroxide as well as possibly food coloring), such as a kitchen or bathroomor an outdoor location Liquid food coloring Different-shaped bottles or glasses 1) In your plastic bottle, carefully mix 1/2 of a cup of peroxide, some food coloring and a big squirt of dish soap and swirl to gently mix them together. 2) In a cup mix together one tablespoon of yeast and three tablespoons of warm water. Stir for about 30 seconds. 3)Pour the yeast mixture into the bottle then quickly step back, and watch your reaction go Extra: Try the activity without the dish soap. What happens? How was the result different? Extra: Try the activity with different-shaped containers. What happens if you use a bottle with a narrower or wider neckor a cylindrical drinking glass with no neck? Extra: If you want to give your elephants toothpaste a more stripped look, add some food coloring along the rim of your bottle!
