I am proud of the campaign we ran. It has been an honor and privilege to run for Congress in New York’s 23rd Congressional District. I want to thank everyone who put their faith in our campaign, volunteered, made phone calls and knocked on doors, invested in our positive vision, and stood with me on the good days and the tough ones. My priority hasn’t changed. We must turn New York’s 23rd Congressional District blue and beat Congressman Tom Reed in November. There’s too much at stake. I really want to thank the other Democratic candidates in the primary, Max Della Pia for Congress, Tracy Mitrano for Congress, Golden For Congress, and Eddie Sundquist you have all worked hard and each in his/her own way have added a tremendous amount to the effort and for that I am grateful.

What kind of nation are we living in that we give tax breaks to billionaires but can't take care of the sick? We can and MUST do better. That's why I'm running for Congress.
