Happy New Year to our friends and neighbors! The Lindenhurst Fire Department responded to 2,756 alarms in 2020. Have a happy and safe new year!

It is with heavy heart that the Lindenhurst Fire Department announces the passing of Ex-Captain Charles Tanner. Charlie was a 71 year active member of the department belonging to the Breslau Engine Co. No. 1. Charlie also served our Country as a Marine during the Korean War. Charlie was an integral part of our department and will be sorely missed. Our condolences our with his family and many friends.

Santa Ride 2020 Saturday December 12 starting 10am

Councilman and Public Safety Chairman Terence McSweeney would like to share these holiday season safety tips to keep in mind as you decorate your home.

Holiday drive thru parade is today starting at 4:30. Don't forget we will have a non-perishable food donations bin, we also will have a mailbox for letters to Santa. See you all soon.

Holiday drive through parade Sunday December 6th, 4:30 - 5:30 pm At Fireman's Memorial Park This year the Lindenhurst fire department will be hosting a drive thru holiday parade to kick off the... holiday season and welcome Santa into town. We welcome all to bring your families ans drive through Fireman's Park to see all the wonderful lights and floats our members have created. We will be accepting non-perishable food donations at the entrance. Please stay in vehicles to practice social distancing. The Lindenhurst Fire Department is planning on our annual Santa Ride around town on Saturday December 12th. We will be following covid guidelines. The department is also planning a holiday parade and will be posting all updates and details on the website and social media platforms.
