For all you ghouls, ghost and goblins that weren't able to attend our trick-or-treat drive through...... and thank you to those that did! Happy Halloween!

Just some of the bags we have filled with trick or treat goodies....come visit us at Belmont Lake State Park from noon until 2:00PM (or until bags run out). We won't have our normal pumpkin sail but we hope you will still join us for some thrilling fun.

Check out these awesome goodie bags we are putting together for a drive-through Trick-Or-Treat this Saturday, October 24th at Belmont Lake State Park this will take place from noon till 2:00PM (or until bags run out) in the north lot. All participants will remain in their vehicle and kids will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat from the safety of your vehicle. Hope to see you then :-)

Hello Anglers! There is still time to register for the annual South Shore Surf Fishing Classic. Today is the deadline to apply by mail. However, if you are still interested in participating this year, you can apply in person at Captree Fuel, Bait and Tackle at Captree State Park as well as at the LI State Parks Regional Headquarters in Babylon during office hours. Please wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines while you are there. The in-person deadline is 9...am, Saturday, October 24. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Recreation Department at 631-321-3510.

Early morning has always intrigued me. Most folks are up and about for sunset. But there's a special group who gets to enjoy the dawn's early light. Recently captured at Captree and Robert Moses State Parks. Enjoy...no alarm clocks needed!

Calling all 2020 Virtual Summer Runners! Swag bag and medal pickup is today from 4pm to 7pm at the LI State Park Headquarters in Babylon. (Exit 37N off the Southern State Pkwy then make your first right and follow the signs) Social distancing protocols will be followed so please wear a mask and stay in your vehicle. Can't make it? You can send someone else to pick up your swag or call Recreation at 631-321-3510 to make other arrangements. See you at the park!

If you registered to participate in our Virtual Summer Run Series come down to LI State Parks Regional Headquarters in Babylon and pick up your swag bag and medal from 4pm to 7pm today and tomorrow. Social distance protocols will be in place. Please stay in your vehicle, wear a mask and follow the signs. Staff will place your bag in your backseat or trunk. You may pick up for other people. If you cannot make it either day, please call Recreation at 631-321-3510 to make other arrangements. See you at the park!
