By your multiple requests Little Genius Prep tutoring company is creating additional (weekday) SHSAT group for the current 7 graders. The group will be running on Thursdays 5 pm 8pm. Each lesson will include 1.5 hours of Math (from a licensed Math teacher with PhD in Math education and almost 30 years of experience in tutoring and teaching) and 1.5 hours of English instructions from a published journalist, author of the SHSAT book, Ace the Hunter College High School Exam... and many other books, articles and publications. We will provide students with all necessary materials, books, homework, full time mock tests, quizzes and other drills. Our results speak for themselves! Of the 30,000+ students taking the exam every year, only around 5,000 enter a specialized high school. This is a pass rate of one in six (about 17%). Congratulations to Little Genius Prep student Christopher L., who received the maximum possible score on the Math part of his October 2019 SAT (800) with the total of 1550. That adds to the collection of our other students who also got maximum possible scores on Math: Nick R. In August, Artem I. in March and several others including Freddie G. who is already at Cornell University.

MAXIMUM POSSIBLE SCORE ON SAT Another Little Genius Prep student received maximum possible score on the Math section of his August SAT test. We congratulate Nick Radkov on his high achievement! As you might know, several other Little Genius Prep students received maximum possible scores on their Math sections of SAT, or/and SAT Math subject tests, but Nick received his high score from the first try! Another Little Genius Prep student received a perfect score on his Math-2 subject test and close to the maximum possible score on his SAT and his ACT tests. We congratulate Freddy on his acceptance into Cornell University. Starting June 2019 Freddy will be helping other Little Genius Prep students on their path to the maximum possible scores.

We know it's been a while since you heard good news, but we've been busy and, we bet, you were busy as well. However, finally, we picked up a date to meet with our "Honor Board" students who successfully passed SHSAT-2018/19, and were accepted into one of the specialized High Schools. We are also plan...ning to meet with the students and parents who's children successfully passed Mark Twain/Bay Academy 2019 test for one of the magnet middle (JH) schools. Our first round of celebration was scheduled for Saturday, May 26th at 12:15 pm. Next late round of celebration is June 22nd, 2019 at 12:15 PM for future middle school students and 1:15 PM for future Brooklyn Tech, Stuyvesant and Staten Island Tech students.
