Legislation signed into law will allow local BOCES programs like the Genesee Valley BOCES to create young farmer apprentice programs. The measure is designed in part to create awareness of the need of bringing younger people into the agricultural workforce in NYS where the average age of farm operators is 59.

BREAKING: The U.S. House of Representatives has voted 232-197 to impeach President Donald Trump for the second time. 10 Republicans joined the Democratic majority in the vote to impeach. It's uncertain when the House vote will be sent to the U.S. Senate for deliberations on the charge of incitement of insurrection.

LATEST: A health alert has been issued for anyone who attended a wedding in Clarendon on Saturday, October 17 for possible exposure to COVID-19. The Genesee/Orleans County Health Department says some attendees have already been placed under quarantine or isolation.
