Thanks so much everyone for your friendly comments about the store closing, we are sad but its nice to hear that the store meant so much to so many people. But dry your eyes, we will skate on. Manhattan rents may be unpredictable, but New York lonboarding LIVES! Loft Manager Nick Coolhands is taking a job as manager of the Bustin Boards Custom Longboards Flagship Store in Brooklyn and planning to organize more events at the store and in the community. Likewise, NYC staple Uncle Funkys Boards is gearing up for another year making riders happy in the West Village. The city evolves and sadly that means change, especially for small players like the Loft, but nothing can keep us off of our boards. See you in the streets in 2016.
