Good Morning.. starting to count down the weeks till Thanksgiving when we close the markets till spring.. we will not be having any indoor market this winter due to COVID ... not a safe thing to do at this time ,outside was great to hold markets indoors a lot different venue our farmers fields are busting with fall crops for your enjoyment come enjoy all of our vendors and what they have to offer. we are please to Be able to have singers in our Rockville Center Market, seaford Market and Islip Markets it’s wonderful to have some kind of .. Good Morning everyone Fall is here and so are the farmers fall vegetables... sweet potatoes winter squash ... cauliflower etc our bakers are busy making fall items like pumpkin pies and cookies come enjoy our home made warm soups we have so much to, offer come early for best selection so you won’t be disappointed when vendors sell out we would like to,thank everyone for following The CDC and New York State Department of agriculture and marketing rules and regulations doing during Covid it’s been a big help to all our vendors and customers alike to be able to come to our market and feel safe..... looking forward to our next 2 1/2 months left in our season .. Good Afternoon just a heads up Terry’s Farm will be back in Rockville Center Tomorrow 9/13/2020 after last weeks issue with our truck and having to be towed we are all fixed and ready for the market ... again we are all very sad that we had to miss the market ,,but thankfully everyone was ok !!!! Good evening everyone Boy did the east end of Long Island get hammed last night With the most powerful Thunder and lightning that shook everybody’s house It was pretty scary,,But farmers needed the rain so alls good... Too all of our customers who have been supporting us for close to 30 years it is so sad too see how this virus is spending. Please understand we at the Long Island Growers Market are doing everything in our power to do the right thing with social distancing and doing our best too keep our vendors and customers alike safe I pray too god that we will some how over come this virus???? With deep regret we have to post that the Long Island growers market will no longer be at the Westbury location we have moved the market to 123 W. Merrick Avenue in Valley Stream at the author Henderson community pool we thank you all who came and supported us at the Thursday and Sunday location but unfortunately it just didn’t work out for us We re open today in Valley Stream and we had a wonderful community support we think each and everyone of you and we look forward to continuing into the late fall ...every Thursday 7 am 1pm ...next week in Valley Stream will be bringing in more vendors ...... and we like to give a big thank you to the Village of Valley Stream for supporting us and promoting us without your support and help we wouldn’t of had such a community outpouring of support See you all next week
