We have been asked frequently about the "murder hornet" situation, and how it is affecting us. Though there have been sightings of individual insects and evidence of a dead nesting site over the past year, this marks the first LIVE nest found within the U.S. As of right now, the situation appears to be confined to the Pacific Northwest, so all we can do is hope the local officials can keep this invasive insect under control.
